I couldn't wait for this book to be published after reading Lelia Silver's other novel that lead to Emilia's Folly. It met with my expectation of a small girl being tutored by Mary Bennet and growing up to become a beautiful young lady. In the meantime, Mary marries Emilia's uncle and raises Emilia, her sister and brother along with their own children. Who would have thought that Mary Bennet, the bookworm and backward sister of Lizzy would do so well later in life.Emilia is beautiful and the belle of the ball and much sought after, however a spoiled young lady wants to ruin it for Emilia and has her father intervene on her behalf. The plot thickens and you will have to read the book to find out whether Anthony saves her or betrays her like his stepfather wants him to do.
It is an easy and fast read and I guarantee you will enjoy it! It is nice to read about the others related to Lizzy and Darcy however I do like to read about them as well.

Overall, a fun read. However, it had a few slow sports and a few underveloped characters. Nice characterizations on the protagonists.
